I'm a conservative and you make a valid point. Though any reasonable person, liberal or conservative knows that liberals are not in favor of terrorists. Thats just stupid. Many people here, and maybe most whether liberal or conservative are know nothings. They really only impede productive debate and only allow yahoo to charge more for advertising space and nothing more.

Am I the only one who sees how much more like American conservatives Muslim extremists are than they are like Liberals? Muslim extremists call America the great satan because we are so free and open as a society. They want a world closed and controlled and repressed, exactly like cons do. Homeland Security could have come from a muslim government directive to crack down on "permissiveness and progressivism."
I won't go so far as to say cons are like al quaida. --I leave stupid comments like that to the extreme right. But unquestionably, radical muslim extremists share a lot in common with American cons. True.

Well, the terrorists do prefer liberal policy as seen here:
Abu Abdullah, a leader of Hamas' military wing in the Gaza Strip, said the willingness by U.S. lawmakers to talk with Syria "is proof of the importance of the resistance against the U.S."
Basically, making war with the US results in them getting what they want.
Aren't these groups enemies of GWB? Is the enemy of your enemy your friend?

In Syria following WWII they hired/hid former Nazi's who became instrumental in developing interrogation tactics of captured Israeli soldiers. So, in keeping with your question (and not the statement that follows) the answer is unequivocally "yes". In this case the enemy (of Nazi Officers being against anything to do with Israel) of my enemy (Syria vs. Israel) was their freind (former Nazi Officers + Syria = freindship).
Not trying to spark any controversy here, and I am not Jewish, and this is not an emotional point for me; however, one that is well documented and known.

Actually no that's not the logic. The logic is this - the reason the Libs pretend there is no terrorist threat is because Bush is fighting it.

That's the liberal motto. That's why Rosie defends terrorists. That's why Pelosi is in bed with terrorists. That's why Cindy Shehan hugs terrorist dictators.
