If we are going to the Moon and beyond to Mars. I belive the purpose is to search for life and natural resorces or to colonize space just like Europe colonized America in the 1400's. This will cost the US gov. a lot of money. Could they be hiding any facts of any structures found on either of these two? Or would it really be worth the tax payers money to have America #2 on Mars in 2050 or so? Please reply and let me know your oppinion.

There where caves recently discovered on Mars. Nasa is talking about building Robots that can go in to a specific cave and search for at least Macrobial life or the best find would be water. If water once flowed widley threw mars and life could have excited there might be fossils. Would this also mean that the Sun was too hot for life on earth But just right for life on Mars? If evolution plays a great roll on sellecting inteligent life from a sepcies that can use tools and comunication could there be remains of inteligent life or their arts and creation such as the assumed face and pyrimids on Mars.

I did work for NASA and looked at many pictures of Mars , It looks like there was a lot of water flowing at one time . If it was warm enough for water to flow what was the temperature here on earth.

US gov is not hiding anything. There may be some top secret things in NASA but they cannot colonize Mars or Moon because in Moon there's no atmosphere and in Mars has carbon dioxide which does not support life so nothing can exist there. Finally we come to the conclusion that living in mars cannot be done before 2050!!!!!!!

There are no structures on Mars and they're not going to look for life otherwise, they wouldn't go to the moon. It's more for geological and scientific reasons they say but in reality, NASA funds a lot of projects and stimulates the economy (primarily military companies) so it keeps the money part of the country working.

It's all crap. There aren't going to be any trips to Mars. The cost is prohibitive and the technology will never exist that would be reliable enough to lock up astronauts in a pressurized can for a year, with no hope of rescue, not to mention the mental problems that would come up.
