Talk about some event in your memory. Your prom night, an exam you thought you failed, you deepest regret, the first time you saw a dead body, your childhood hobby, your favorite toy...

Those kinds of things that you know well are interesting. The more vividly you know something, the more interesting you can make it.

If I were you, I'd examine things that I'm really interested in such as: How do celebrities influence the media? How does popular culture influence today's youth? Should students have a passing GPA in order to stay on a sports team? What is the influence of advertising on today's youth?

Notice how I created questions that need answering. The best way to speak/write about a topic is to anticipate any questions that might be asked about the topic and have a possible response.

Good Luck.
