Motorcycles are frequently identified by their engine size. For example, a Honda CBR600 has an engine with a cylinder volume of 600 cubic cm (cc).

If you're not sure of the engine size, look for an identifying sticker on the frame, below the handlebars.

It is the metric engine displacement "cc" = Cubic Centimetres. There are 1000 cc to 1 litre.[approx 1 US Qt.]

If you have 250 cc bike it refers to the engine size.

When the piston is at the bottom of the cylinder it would hold 1/4 L of fluid.

A rough conversion from cubic inches to L is to divide the cubic inched by 61.4. To achieve cc divide litres by 1000.

the term is referred to as cubic centimetres. It is the radius of the cylinder x the stroke length.

An average coke can is about 375ccs. so thats how big your cylinder is. If you had a 750, it would be 2 coke cans, but a 4cylinder 250cc engine has cylinders not much bigger than shot glasses.
