We're drinking whiskey and cola and he pours like 3 shots in my first drink and I say, "Wow, that's a good drink." And so for my second drink he pours 4 shots and I'm just about finished that drink now and I'm going to ask him for another soon. Should I be frightened? We've only been drinking for an hour.

Haha, don't worry. "This guy" is the man I'm in a strongly commited relationship with and will eventually have that silly little ritual called marriage. That's why I'm asking in this section instead of dating. Yea, he's trying to get me drunk, but he doesn't need to do that to get into my pants! Hehehe. I think I have to wait 'til he's drunk...

Oops, the ritual is called a wedding. The relationship after the ritual is called marriage, but we're married already in all ways practical.

It sounds to me like he was just getting you pissed drunk most likely do you lose some of your inhibitions when you have had too many?. Really if this guy is just trying to get you drunk and your witnessing how much booze he is putting in the drink then why are you asking this. Maybe just let him know that you do not need alcohol for him to get some action!
Really though this sounds a little inmature.

He was trying to get you drunk so that he can get into your pants.
If you are not feeling this guy like that, do not continue to drink with him. If you do you will regret the next morning or worse.

I'd tell him how many shots you want in your drink. If he doesn't listen, don't drink it ... and reconsider drinking with him again.
