Your question doesn't make any sense. Sept 11 is a date that comes around every year. What is an American council?

What are you talking about? The Twin Towers being precious??? Because Americans don't think stupid buildings were precious but the thousands of lives lost in them sure were. It's so not about buildings, but lives lost and a proper memorial so those people are always remembered. Ignorance is useless unless you show it I guess......

We have a 9/11 every year. We also don't have an american council. We are building a memorial to the attack; and like all thing American, we'll get a ton of feedback and disent before we settle on what we want.

I hope that helped.

By '9/11' I assume you mean the Twin Towers! I don't think anyone has claimed that the towers were 'precious', its the 2000 lives which were lost that is precious!!!

Don't get it. 9/11 is a common way of referring to the terrorist atrocities in the USA, by way of the date.

If you are referring to the World Trade Center, then they are building new skyscraper structures on the site. After such a terrible terrorist attack it takes a long time for FBI/Gov investigation, checking the ground, removing all the rubble debris, decontaminating the ground, surveying the ground until fit for new building, design and planning permission, then finally starting work on structures themselves. I imagine if i blew up your house that you'd have it rebuilt in 12 months.

9/11 wasn't a building you dimwit, it was a terrorist attack. Really, how stupid can you be? The buildings were THE TWIN TOWERS. And it wasn't that they were precious that got everybody going, it was that thousands of people died. The tower doesn't matter, but the lives lost do. They could build the towers again, but that would be dishonoring all of the people that died.

In my ignorance, Are you talking about the TOWERS which were leveled by the event that took place on 9-11?????? Are you suggesting that the people of New York should consider resurrecting a second set of Towers? (a new one?) If this is what you are asking, think about other artifacts in our country which may represent some overwhelming truth....you can' t "rebuild" - the passion that was felt for that sorrowful day would only lend itself to a MEMORIAL in the place of those towers so that people who lost their loved ones, and people who wish to remember this event year after year, would have a 'place to come to' to pray, to meditate, to reflect. If there are 'new structures' in its place, the entire theory would be lost. I hope this is what you meant. Rather than tear you down for asking the question, and making nasty comments, I hope this has helped, if not, please feel free to comment directly to my email. Thank you.
