No Chapple should not further retain as the coach of Indian Cricket Team. Though the poor performance of all the team is responsible for the world cup defeat but in a part it is the result of over experiment carried out by Chappel. He could not do much for the team.

He should not be the coach.According to me he came for coaching us because he wanted to destroy Sachin's career and let pointing break all sachin's records. His aim was simply to divide and rule.First it was Sourav and then Sachin and Dravid along with other senior players. But he was unsuccessful.I strongly say that CHAPPLE was only responsible for failure in WC.It is good for India to be away from such coach. It would be best if John Wright would be the coach.Anyone except Greg Chapple who is rather practical will do.This time India must be wise enough to select.

It is totally unfair to blame Greg Chappel for India's debacle in the World Cup. However, in the wake of the controversies going on at present, even if Greg Chappel continued as the Coach, things will not be improved as it appears that some section of the players are against the style of his functioning.

i think that 30% of loss is placed by greg. yes, i think CHAPPLE should stay as our team COACH. its partially his fault. if he has coached and made the cricketers pratice and on the field if players don't play good as he coached them good, is it his responsibility? No! well he should have coached the players properly, i agree. but he is not responsible for ousting the team from world cup.

Though i do not think Chappel is solely responsible for our poor performance at the world cup,in my opinion he has no business to stay as the coach of the Indian team, for he was given a job and he failed miserably doing that.I think Chappell should be judged by the same yardstick of performance as all of us are judged in our work.

Yes . According to me we have one af the BEST teams in the world but the fact is that Greg Chappel did not utilize it properly . Instead of blaming senior players he should have tried to improve their performance by giving them good coaching . He is really responsible for our not winning the cup . I strongly feel that he should not coach our team any longer !!!!

Before I say "no", he has already packed his bags and left for Australia. And yes, he was responsible to a great extent for Team India's poor show in WC, 2007.

he should hav remained as the coach as only he had the boldness to take a player like ganguly who was totally out of sorts..but at times he has taken some rough decision but he should hav continued

First of all there is no use of talking abt this as he has already resigned from the post

secondly he is not responsible .
The team is responsible . as per my information ,his commands were not accepted by the team.

Few players such as Ganguly were dominating.

He was not responsible. I say it is the players who need to be blamed but it is better to have a coach from our own country.
