I am a rep but I tend to agree...he has been villianized for 7 years now everyday on the news and it has hurt him...Iraq is an extremely tough nut...if we are able to have a successful outcome in the next 2 years he will be looked at better by history i think.

The World still does pay attention as the Man and his politics are that of a Mad Man with George Walker Bush proving to be a Sociopathic Liar who goes it alone without listening to anyone other than his Puppet Master VP Dickless Cheney. It will be a great day for the United States as well as the rest of the World when the War Mongering ex alcoholic and drug addict is done and he can take his sorry *** and run to Paraguay where he can hide for his Crimes against Humanity charges that will eventually happen. The coward George Walker Bush will have immunity in Paraguay for they have guaranteed the Coward that they will not extradite him.

Lame-duck is nothing more than liberal name calling. Propaganda. Do you actually think he can't affect American policy?
His posture at the moment indicates that he is preparing his successors arguments. the same as Clinton's 'lame-duck' last days.
The Congress has a bill in front of him now. He will veto it because it doesn't fit his or his party's agenda. the effect is a debate about which party is right. Each will make their best arguments in the media and the debate will decide who becomes the next President.
Will America choose:
a) Troop funding as an emergency condition during war, above and beyond any political debate imposed by the Democrats on matters of who actually can undeclare war once the declaration has been made and the act thereof in progress. (the bill has withdrawal mandates)-Republican P.O.V.
Or:
b)The Congress has final authority in all matters of war and when and how to fund such endeavors, inclusive of 'pork' spending that benefits the Nation internally without regard to the opposing party's opposition to certain aspects of the spending, and making the funding of the militairy dependant upon the funding of said 'pork'. Democrat P.O.V
Not relevant? I beg to differ. He is posturing. The oppinion of the people he governs matters very little to a last term President. It is his last debate that influences elections.
Are there enough people undecided that will share his p.o.v. and support his party again? A true lame-duck can only be decided by the next election. Clinton was a lame-duck as he failed to get a Democrat reelected. Reagan was not because he got Bush Sr. elected. Bush Sr. was a lame-duck only out done in lameness by Jimmy Carter.
I pay attention to what Bush says. It's important.

Bush vetoed each and every thing Congress placed forth in spite of everything Bush won't be able to be blamed for the recession because the options that destroyed regulation occurred in the previous due 90s with bipartisan help, even nonetheless Bush genuinely did no longer some thing about it later on a similar time because the caution signs and indicators grew to grow to be sparkling.

I don't even pay any attention to what Bush has to say. He hasn't done anything he's said anyway, always the opposite or out there in limbo land. If it looks like a DUCK, and Quacks like a DUCK, it's most likely LAME DUCK DUMBYA.

Of course the Democrats are going to be hostile toward a Republican president that plans on vetoing their troop withdraw plan. Regardless of your opinion of our president he is still the president - therefore people must listen to him.

regardless of his popularity, he still is the president and holds power via the veto. Bush can still do some damage if he wants to, but it would be in his best interest to try and reconcile this country and his image in his remaning time in office.
