Another hung parliament or an outright winner (unlikely but apparently the SNP are polling at around 50% at the moment so not outwith possibility).

My guess is that as polling day gets closer the gap between SNP, Labour and Lib-Dem will narrow and there will be a three way tie perhaps with the SNP having two or three more seats than Labour. They may also be a surge of localised support for other smaller parties and well respected individuals that would be able to challenge in certain ways any pact formed by two of the party's.

It might sound odd but I think it would be good for Scotland if the Tories improved their vote a little as it might help to keep the 'mighty left' honest.

Independence will be a permanent feature in these elections(and general elections too) north of the border and unless people actually see genuine progress the 'separatists' will continue to gain momentum. This is not a bad thing at present as it is forcing complacent party's to reassess the fact that people really want to be listened too.
Not a fan of the break up of the UK but it has been good for Scotland that a strong and critical voice in the SNP has come into existence.

It could be good for the UK as a whole if other minority and decent parties would take note of the strategy used (listen to the electorate).

I'm not Scottish, and I suspect that the SNP could do quite well. The trouble is that only about 35% of the public bother to vote in local elections so you may end up in a situation where the SNP win and bring in very radical policies which the majority of people do not agree with. I am not really in agreement with any party which campaigns on a very narrow nationalistic agenda. Whilst Scotland could have some complaints against England, most of these were more than 200 years ago....We should be a United Kingdom.

there will be another coalition, but this time Not Labour led.
under AMS, it is very hard to get a one party majority, with over 50%.
The SNP are polling 5 - 10 points more than Labour so far. And with less that 27 days to May 3rd, it will be a victory for the SNP
Thankfully the coalition with the current Executive, Labour led, with the Lib Dems, has shown to have worked very well, and have not really had many problems.
The coalition Executive Will not only push for a better Scotland, but also independence - which make make Scotland a more compatible country for industry.
It would be nice to see a coalition Will the SNP, and most of the smaller parties - but the more parties comes more "want" and bargaining, so I only hope that SNP get enough votes and form a stable alliance to make Scotland a better place.

probably another coalition. I personally hope the SNP will be the largest party, having previously being a LABOUR supporter I believe that LABOUR have taken our support for granted in recent years.Scotland has been neglected by the BRITISH government for some time now. AN SNP victory, hopefully, will wake them up.

The Scottish National Party look like they will form the next administration at Holyrood. Then they've got to go about impressing us with their dynamism and competence - then they have a chance of persuading Scotland that Independence is the right course.

The ball is in their court now. Labour have wasted their chance and they are going to pay at the ballot box. It is not before time.
