Okay, yesterday I went to an "America's Best Contacts" place... I am in a bind needing contacts and was only going there so I could get in out and on with my life. I got there at 12 (my appt was at 12:15) I sat there for an hour and was never seen. So I made another appointment for after work.
I came back at 4:30 and they got me in very quickly. While the lady was looking at my eyes she started yelling at me about some scarring near my cornea *the damage has been there for years* I tried to explain this to her and she yelled at me some more.
I was thinking to myself... okay, just put up with her ****, get your prescription and get out of here and you can do what you want! When I went to pay and check out she said "I'm writing you a glasses prescription" I was like... "What?!?! I have the same glasses prescription SITTING ON my FACE!" I walked out without paying~ I will not pay to be treated that way! I wanted what I wanted and she didn't give it to me is there anything they can do?

Should the business decide to press charges against you, it would be for non-payment for the exam. Touchy subject as far as going to a place for contacts and getting a glasses prescription. They may state that you are not able to wear contacts due to the previous eye damages. They will probably win. While the treatment you received was brash, you still got an exam.

.You got the exam, if you liked it or not you must pay for the service provided. The prescription cost you nothing , you can throw it in the trash.
