you left out the other 3 legislators who were there last week too. or are they immune from examination because of their party?
Because Bush damned her trip doesn't make it wrong. there is not official hostilities between our two countries. Bush is a lame Duck and soon to be gone, Pelosi is here for a while and our country is here to stay. Diplomacy is probably the most valuable tool in international relationships and just because GWB believes in 'diplomacy through force' doesn't mean that we shouldn't keep the lines of communication open with all non-hostile nations for the good of the country.
BTW: congress members have been visiting other heads of state on good will missions for the last couple hundred years.

Why? There are no travel restrictions for American citizens to Syria. Or are the Republicans just jealous that Pelosi is showing more guts and balls than the fake bravo that Bush shows (like dressing up and pretending to be a Navy airman). Pelosi is doing what Bush should have been doing the last 4 years. I applaud her.

The only thing trying to get our soldiers out of Iraq so we can go after the terrorists where they really ar (Afghanistan) is "undermining" is Haliburton's profits.
And if you are talking about her trip to Syria--then start by asking about the three Republican Congressmen who have visited Syria--or Bill Frisk's open support of the Taliban on his visit to Afghanistan.

Yes, but the questions have to include reference to her syrian scarf. "Why did you choose the color scarf that you did?"
"Do you feel you were adequately handsome in your scarf?
"Did your mother train you to wear head gear?"
"How did your scarf compare to Rice's?
Oops soory Rice had none"
