Yeah. Maybe if market were free over in North Korea, people wouldn't be starving to death. Free markets are always good. It's the best way of distributing goods to the most people.

Yes, but to be truly free and open would mean that our government would stop punishing production and subsidizing imports.

In addition, our government needs to wise up to the global age, and treat like products the same. It's one thing for companies to outsource production of a tangible product overseas, and pay tariffs when it is brought here for sale, but I see no reason not to impose a tariff on phone calls to call English-language call centers.

It will cause them to re-educate their people. How else can the accept that other countries are more affluent.
So yes, any improvement there is good.
