It was a bit of a shambles, but is it me or does the reaction of the police just fuel the situation? There was no fighting between fans last night, just spurs fans kicking off when the riot police piled in heavy handed. As soon as the police backed off it all went quiet again.
I don't think you need worry about spurs getting kicked out, their fans have had a good record in Europe this year, which could not be said about the feyernord fans who have a history of trouble.
Oh and I think the spurs should review the footage and ban for life all the idiots throwing the seats.

spurs shoul get off lightly because their fans are usually well behaved as are meny `english` fans these days - remember back in the 70`s, 80`s and early 90s english fans had a bad reputation of causing trouble but now that is a rare occurance in the english game. unfortunately some countries in europe includeing spain and italy still think we cause the trouble when trouble breaks out at matches that include british teams. the german police @ last years world cup said the english fans were better behaved than what they expected apart from a few trouble makers.
feyenord have a history of crowd trouble thats why theygot booted out of the uefa cup. At the roma v man united mach the night before it seemed that the roma fans started it then the man u fans reacted and the police went in heavy handed. so if they kick out spurs then roma should be banned kicked out and banned from any european competitions next season. but spurs probobly wont get kiked out just a slap on the wrist and a fine probably
in spain and italy they have mega problems with crowd trouble and i think uefa should do what the fa did to sort out crowd trouble and if that dont work then make them play beind closed doors at all levels untill they sort it out

The Feyenoord situation came about after a number of unpleasant incidents of hooliganism from their fans and the fact that the club seemed unwilling or unable to do anything about it - the incident in Seville is slightly different in that there seems to have been provokation on both sides. Despite being a Spurs fan, I'm not defending the minority of fans who ripped up and threw seats, but the police appeared to initially wade into the Spurs fans for what seemed like very little reason at all (before any seats were thrown).
Add to that the disgusting scenes in Rome on Wednesday, I can't help but feel that English fans (of all teams) are being targetted by the fans and authorities (particularly in Italy - a nation where football is both deeply corrupt and violent) on the strength of a (mostly) outdated and once deserved reputation.
UEFA need to crack down on Italian and Spanish football violence, but they seem too cowardly to do it.

thats a stab in the back.
the crowds did it to themselves.
its a **** feeling for the person who started it, i should know.
anyway, i honestly think that kicking them out aint the right approach.
give supporters bans or fines. it wasnt the players fault was it!!!!
