I believe everyone has their own particular kind of luck. For instance, some people are "lucky in love" while others are "lucky at cards" and so forth. My particular luck is parking. I always seem to have the ability to get one of the closest spots you can get when going out. Obviously I'd prefer "lucky at lotto", but hey, you take what you're given!

This world works on its own laws. If you drop something it falls. You will not say that by luck when I dropped it fell down. If I drop this cup and if it does not fall down I should say I am lucky. But it never happens. Every thing happens according to the law. One strange law of this universe is that what you give it comes back to you. If you know how to love you will be lucky in love. If you want others to love you they will ask your love as a bargain. Wherever you are businesslike you will get a businesslike approach in return. I would say it will come back to you multiplied. If you want to know how this happens go to an echo point and shout. If you bark at the echo point the echo point is going to bark at you many times.
So when luck and misfortune comes to you you should understand the origin is within you. The way you give the same way you get back. If you give grudgingly and calculatingly it comes back the same way.

Superstitions aside, what we call "luck" is esentially reaping the benefits of exposure to changing circumstances / events. The more you are exposed to, the "luckier" you are because you increase your chances. One needs to have many irons in the fire, as it were. Look around you. The lucky people are those who always appear to have more opportunities - they do not make these opportunities but are in circulation so that they do come across these opportunities and secondly can make use of the opportunities when the time comes.
