Type of memory - DDR - SDRAM

So you want DDR chips.

http://www.crucial.com/index.asp has a scanner which should tell you more about the RAM you have at the moment, so you can find something that matches its speed.

You'll need to use DDR PC-3200 memory in this machine. The only thing one can not determine is what is the maximum amount of memory you can use. We would need to know the motherboard model number. Some motherboards only allow 512 megs of ram, some 768megs and other upto 2 gigs. So the maximum amount can not be determined without that information.

Generally speaking though I would say yes 1 gig is possible but, I would purchase the memory in 512 meg sticks just in case your motherboard can not access that much.

I love AMD !!!

your pc seems great !!!

you said that the Type of memory - DDR - SDRAM

then you can use both kind of rams DDR/SDRAM

if u only got 2 slots like my pc, use 2 ram ships

1024 and 1024

or 512 and 512

just make sure the sum is equal or more than 1024

and DDR is Better!
