Hi,

This could be a case of hydrocoele.

A hydrocoele is an accumulation of fluid around a testicle on one or both sides.
A hydrocoele results when fluid accumulates between the two layers covering the testes. Most often there is no cause found. Hydrocoeles can also develop as a result of injury or infection. It may sometimes accompany other problems such as chronic infections or the presence of a tumour in the testicle.

The condition is usually painless, although sometimes it may cause a dragging sensation or mild pain.

Feel free for the treatment

There is NO WAY anyone here on Y!A can answer as to what causes this. This should be examine by a doctor.

While having different size testicles is not abnormal, if it is worrying you or if there is a significant difference, it should be properly examine by your doctor just to sure. As one answerer said, examine it. Is the difference caused by a lump of some sort?

As to the comment by one answerer that there is no pain in cancer, I would like to ask whether he/she ever worked with people or families of those with cancer? Any palliative care nurses will tell you, some type of cancer causes so much pain even the strongest morphine will be ineffective.

Feel very carefully is it the testicle it's self or is it a growth, if it is the latter then go see your doctor as this has to be removed or treated, this often happens in men over 25 years old. It is not serous at this moment in time and may be treated with anti-biotic. If this does not resolve the problem then you may need a small operation to remove the offending lump. Hope this has helped.

if the difference between the two sides are obvious it could be a hernia (intestines going into your scrotum), an abcess (pus), or an abnormal growth. try a testicular exam. you could do it yourself..
-take a warm bath(so that the balls will descend)
-feel each of your balls one at a time using your thumb while your other fingers support it. the thumb is the one that is supposed to be feeling for lumps.
-if you feel a lump(usually the size of a pea and is hard) consult a doctor

Perhaps for the same reason that women have one breast that is slightly larger than the other. It's probably normal.
