Is the rise of Football violence in Europe a direct result of less people taking Ecstasy.?

It is reported that Dance Culture has started to wane and that the end may be in near for some of the major Superclubs due to a downturn in attendance. In the 1980's fottball hooliganism declined as a direct result of the rise of the Dance scene and drug culture. Are we now seing a miiror effect of that situation.

Interesting theory, to say the least. Your thesis seems to be that young people must find a way to be wild, and if they don't have one, they will have another. Still, it would be interesting to know how the "as a direct result" conclusion was reached. This would imply that some researcher asked people what they used to do, and why they do what they do. I can see "is directly correlated to" just on statistics, but the claim of cause and effect relationship goes further than that.

Make this your Ph.D. thesis and make your mark in the world. But hurry; the situation may change at any moment.

Oh absolutely. I've been suggesting to world leaders and the Pope for years that the major water supplies be drugged but nobody has taken the initiative. The future may provide that brave new world yet, we'll see.
