Firstly don't write a letter - call her up instead and talk to her.

Just let her know that it is too far for you to go to a party. And let her know that you are sorry and you would love to be there, but the distance is just too much.

Just be honest and tell her why you can't go. What's the big deal? If someone lives too far away and it's a hardship for you to get there there's no shame in that!

So you r Sarah... In the movie "RUMOR HAS IT" Sarah went to Jeff. She flew all the way to tell him she couldn't live w/o him... so if its a goin away party go to him & tell him It will not work.. If its a I love you party Go to him & tell him How you feel. If its a birthday party call him tell him Happy Birthday party. And if its a pity party don't bother ... ha ha ha !!!

Thank you for inviting me to your party. It would be my pleasure to attend, but unfortunately the trip would be to difficult for me at this time.

Have a good time for me, too. I will be thinking about what I am missing.

Sincerely,
