need to make people become more aware of the impact it causes in peoples lives. should be taught in school at a really early level that this type of behavior is utterly unacceptable.

I think that schools have changed now in order to accommodate minorities and apply disproportionate sanction to any action that may have racial motive or undertones.
This combined with the anti-bullying campaigns ensure that children are no longer readied for the realities of life outside of school.
Races all have their own characteristics, both desirable and undesirable. To pretend that this is not the case is a to live a lie. Social-economic status and education are used to pre-judge individuals so why not race as these characheristic are genetic and less likely to have been influenced by the person's environment.

I was brought up in a racist area, well what I mean is that the first asians I saw at school were eating their lunch packs with their fingers and dressed in bright robes. We had never smelled curry before and I think you will agree that it was a tremendous culture shock and nobody could understand each other as their were no interpreters at that time. I can't call it racism although as I grew up I developed racist thoughts and actions because work was getting hard to find and housing less available for young white people. I am disgusted that you were bullied and tormented for just being of Asian appearance and feel quite ashamed that my compatriots parents still allow their children to fester racism in their hearts, as a Christian I have been battling with our cultural differences for years, it is time for us to integrate or disintegrate as opposing ideologies. Political correctness has allowed Islam to flourish and I hope their are good Islamic people out there, but the silence from the Muslim community sadly creates disbelief amongst us

Why is paki racism. It's just short for Pakistani. Is Brit racist, (short for British) Or what about Scots (short for Scottish) The only way we'll beat it is if people stop taking everything to heart so much. It's a word for crying out load. It's actions that make a person racist. Beating you up for being a paki is plan wrong, But calling you a paki is just nothing. If anything it's stating something.

I think you should hold your head up high- safe in the knowledge that you are so much better than all those idiotic ,small minded, racist biggots. They just show themselves up for being uneducated, unintelligent, pathetic morons. Racism is just a way for them to reinforce their own pathetic little lives.
I believe we should fight racism through intergration. I went to a school where all races were educated together and this taught me to embrace diversity and I agree with you- we are all human and all have something to offer each other. I'm just ashamed of all the idiots out there that can't see past their own noses.

Stop going on about it all the time - the longer you moan and scream racial abuse the longer it will go on - you forget it isn't just you - you refer to yourself here as 'Paki' but when one of your people calls someone white trash - that doesn't count - NOT saying it is you or many of your people but the laws in this country defend you more than they do white people as has been the case in courts - black man called another employee white Sh*t and all manner of other names and when it was taken to court - nothing happened - no case to answer.
Works both ways nowadays I'm afraid -
