I stopped using the dry cleaners years ago when I discovered Dryel. The only it doesn't work on is silk. Dryel is basically a home kit of the exact process they use at the dry cleaners (confirmed by the dry cleaning lady!) It works just great! The clothes come clean, they smell good, the stains are removed and mainly, I now save between 40 to 60 dollars a week! Get yourself some Dryel.

A steam iron will let you steam the wrinkles out of the suit (do not press) but pressing with a hot iron will ruin the suit and "set" the body oils and other smelly substances.

You can often use dry cleaning fluids, available from dry-cleaning and janitorial supply houses, but if you're asking this particular question I don't imagine it will be worth your while to pick up a whole gallon. Your best bet, in this case, is to take the suit to the dry-cleaners. If you desperately need it, they can ofen have it back to you clean within an hour.

I thought steam might be the key for dry cleaning too, but as it turns out. Both of us are horribly wrong according to wikipedia.org. Unless you can get the solvent they are talking about. I don't think you can do much.

no you have to be careful when cleaning a suit because some materials cant be washed and has to be professionally cleaned.

No..

If you were to put it in the washer or something it would be ruined permanently...
