Strangely enough I did this morning. I took my dogs for a walk at 7.00am and the moon was still quite high in the sky and the sun was just rising, it was quite mystical. I'm living in the Canary Islands though so I guess it has something to do with where you are in the world.

Yes, the moon is often in the same hemisphere as the sun. It's a lot paler most of the time but can easily be seen. However, the most spectacular way you see the moon and the sun - literally - together is a total solar eclipse.

Yes. A lot of time you WILL see the moon in the sky during daylight hours. May be you are spending too much time inside logged on to Y!A. Go outside and have a look sometimes.

Yes...I have seen this on a beach in Wales. I looked in one direction, and there was the moon coming up and in the other, then sun was going down. Stunning colours in the sky and that night, you should have seen the meteor shower! Got so many wishes on a star that night I am still using them up!

Sometimes, usually around Dawn or sunset.......Up until last week I believed the moon and the sun were the same. Then I saw them together and was totally flabergasted!
