ok the wallpaper is attached one next to the other right? Between every consecutive wallpaper is sorta peeling out a bit so that you can see the paint behind it. How do i stop this and how can i fix this?

Depending on the pattern of your wallpaper, you could do the following:

1. Get a new piece of wallpaper and put it over the lines, adjusting it so that the pattern looks as 'natural' as possible. You'd want to have the edge of this wallpaper around 1-2" away from the line.

2. Tape the top and bottom ends of the wallpaper to the wall securely.

3. Place a ruler (or other long, straight-edged object) against the side of the wallpaper that will need to be cut. Press firmly and cut through until you cut the bottom (previously layed) layer.

4. Remove new (cut) piece of wallpaper.

5. Remove old piece of wallpaper.

6. Repaper the bald patch with the piece you just cut out, taking care not to make it too wet this time.

TIP: Once you've adjusted the first edge, the cutting edge can go anywhere from 1-2" to as wide as you like. However, the smaller the piece, the easier to work with, but sometimes due to the pattern of the paper, you might want a bigger piece so that the 'joints' aren't as noticeable.

Good luck!

You got a problem.
Your wall paper is shrinking. You must of put it on too wet and when it dried out ,it left gaps.
If you can live with it, fix it when you rewallpaper next time.

If you can't live with it, than you're going to have to start all over. I know that's not what you want hear.
You can't restrech the paper.
If you have to repaper, after you take off this stuff, wash the glue off the walls, than paint the walls with a flat oil base paint that matches the backround color of the new wall paper. That way, if the new paper shrinks, you wn't see the seams

All wallpaper, but especially cheaper brands, will contract somewhat. Although we didn't have the problem, I saw that our paper hanger had a box with a large selection of colored pencils. I presume it was to correct this problem.

Sounds like you didn't seal the seams very well. There is seam paste available. Try that
