me and my other half have been together for just over a month now,
my problem is that no one can except the fact that were together. how can i get the message across that bens a really good person,
and does it really matter what everyone else thinks as long as me and ben are happy right !!!!

If Ben treats you good, and you are happy, don't worry about what everyone else thinks. They will accept the situation after they realize how happy you are.

first you need to establish why every ones against it.like they say there cant be smoke without a fire.however as Ive come to figure its only ever the two people in the relationship that can understand it.if u know in your hearts of hearts that what you have is real,u don't have to prove it to none else cos at the end of the day,its your happiness,your life . do you babe! at the end of the day wen u look into his eyes,when you hold hands, kiss n make love it should all be worth it for those moments,u get me!

Bring him around the people who are not sure of you and him together, once they get to know him a little more they can then judge him if they like him or not.
Really sweetie the only person it should matter to is you and him, and so long as you and him like eachother then, yes who gives a rats what others think.

You can't and you needn't bother trying all you can do to prove them wrong is live your lives together and be happy, eventually they will come around, i have two older brother and am the only girl in our family, and even though i feel it took about 2 years for my family to accept a 14 year age gap, they had no choice when they saw how happy it made me!!!

the more u try and make people accept ur relationship the more they will object. it was like that with me and my husband at first my dad hated him but we have been together now 6 years and married 2 and have a beautiful baby boy with another on the way. my parent saw our relationship grow and then finally accepted my husband. it was the same with my husbands dad he thought i was just a slag trying to get sumert outta my husband but he eventually saw we were gud together and we get on quite well have a laff n go out drinking (or did b4 i got preg again) together. my advice would be to just get on with ur life with ur bf and in time people will respect the fact ur with him and will come to accept him in there own time in the mean time concerntrate on makin each other happy

It depends on why everyone has a hard time believing that he's good for you.
If he's a serial rapist or has just been released from prison for murder, then yes, I could see why your family and friends would be concerned.
But if people just dislike him because (for example) he is the "wrong" skin colour or something equally ridiculous, then by all means, ignore them and focus on being happy with him.

explain to them y u like her and b honest wt her bad qualities as well coz honesty always earns extra and always b n her side tho judge 4m their side as well! f they dnt agree hey 4get t ! its ur life ! u like her 4 reasons and well jus go on! BUT do give them the chance to speak and prove thm wrong f they r >> but f they r justified in theior statement give t a thot! c f she really is lik tat>>>coz ppl wnt say all ths 4 no reason and u can alwayz change her 4 the better coz ts u who is gonne live wt her!

i think you answered your own question when you said does it really matter what everyone else thinks..
maybe they dont like him now but its only been a month give them time to get to know him and im sure they will grow to enjoy him as much as you do :)
