Local shop called?
You know, your local convenience store, the shop you go to when you run out of essentials, the shop that charges over the top prices! I have LONDIS (which used to be the SPAR) which is closing for refurbishment soon, (I'd better stock up now!)

The Late Shop, I think it is a spin off from co-op.

But you can always rely on the local Asian convenience shop to be open all hours even on Christmas Day.

I think its called the Village cottage or something silly like that, even though it isnt in a village or a cottage. But everyone calls it the Mars shop as it has a huge Mars bar advertisement across the top. Very expensive for most things.

my corner shop doesnt have a name. not only do they do over the top prices but there opening times are when they feel like and they arnt always stocked up. so if i cant go there then i either have to suffer (my husband works night so hes asleep during the day and work at night and i cant get outta house at night as my son is in bed) or if its during the day i have to fork out nearly 6 quid for bus fair there and back to asda just to get bread or milk.
