I don't think it's ever a really comfortable feeling to be going somewhere to meet new people for the first time. We all wonder if we will fit in, get along or have anything in common with them. Try to look at it as an adventure and way to open up your world and get to know new and interesting people. They are probably feeling the same way about meeting you for the first time. It's a normal feeling I think we all have from time to time.

NO its not abnormal..It just that there are many people, like me, who feel uncomfortable when it comes to meeting new people. They become quite shy and seemingly afraid at how these new people will react to them and treat them. They may ask themselves certain questions such as, what if this new person does not like me? What if they think that I am stupid or boring? They may have a lack of confidence about their own social skills and their ability to make a good impression, people always say that the first impression counts and this just adds to the pressure. All of this stress and fear is not good and is certainly not going to help them in the situation, whenever has worrying about something ever helped anyone?..
what we need is to improve our life and try to gain some more confidence..

hope this help..
