Try to sell it on Kijiji or Craig's List (free) or eBay for a small fee. While there, keep an eye open for a good used laptop. You could also put an advertisement in the local newspaper.

Include the full specs and at least one good photo, and do a little research to find out how much others are asking for as a "Best Offer".

I don't know of any place to trade, but you could sell it on Ebay and buy yourself a macbook all at the same spot. That's the only suggestion I have and what do you mean you upgraded 250MB more? Do you mean 250GB like the HDD?

If you are trading for ANOTHER apple, you can try POWERMAX(in oregon) or Smalldog(in Vermont), they take trade-ins for new equipment, and both will give you a fair return on your investment, towards a new MAc Portable.

Powermax-www.powermax.com
Smalldog-www.smalldog.com

I only tell you were they are located for shipping purposes...
