I love lots of them, but I think Fireflies.
I loved every episode and have seen them all more than once, then went and bought the series on DVD so I can watch them more.
The series says something about people, you could place the story in any place through history/civilization
I wish there was more. Joss Whedons' series have such great characters and you can see them grow as the series continues. The Serenity was a great ship, loved how things were placed in all the nooks such as the rooms..
Every episode had was easy to understand each character has a place.

Check out Firefly! It's smart and SO funny, plus it combines the best of sci-fi with a bit of a western edge.
