My wife and I were watching the "George Lopez Show." The show was about a sex offender moving into the neighborhood. When George and wife with surrounding neighbors found the home with the sex offender, they were suprised it was an attractive female who was once a teacher and had sex with one of her students. George and the neighbors forgave her and welcomed her to the nieghborhood. My wife was pissed. I will keep my comments to myself. What is your opinion?

I watch the same show and yes their is a double standard. Its very unusually for a female to be a sex offender and with today standard young men would find that to be a turn on and thinking that the lady is easy to have sex with because she attracted to young boys and it not considered her to be a perverted thru their eyes.

This is because of humanities inability to truly understand its own sexuality. Atleast thats how I see it. Good old George Lopez was after a nice joke to light up the morning and entertain us tell the commercials come on so he can make his money, so nothing truely deep is going to come out of that show... funny guy thou, and he does have some great ideas but he is just there not to make too many waves and to make his impression... but on to the answer... We have this misconception that males don't get imprint neither as bad as females when you have cases of melestion, or pediphilia. Also most cases that make it to the public are from male on male/ male on female mostly because of the fact that a female telling of being melested by an order man is going to get report 10 times more then one were a male was melested by an older female. If anything because a male should feel proud or happy about what happen to him. I've heard many of cases from people in my generation were a male friend found some sexual attention at a young age from a friends mother... but there not going to do anything but brag about such a happening weather it had a bad effect on them or not, there taught not feel guilty or regret for the happening. Females on the other hand are taught to feel guilty, regretful, and remorseful about it. They're not able to gain in a social matter the ego bust that a male gains from such happenings. The fact is weather your female or male its effecting you the same way, unfornatly thou we are social beings, so the world doesn't treat both the same causing conflicts in how we handle one or the other. Were still in a males form mars, females from venus mentaility, espacially when talking about pop culture. People don't want to accept that the whole man what it more, females just want to be held is a sterotypical view of people in general. That we are all individuals and that the lines that divide females from males is less sexually and a little bit more experiences wise. We all have gentials, we all have feelings, but we all don't get to have the same side of the coin.. that is the only thing that truly divides one sex from the other, not how they react to sex, not how they feel about sex, but in were there place is within breeding. Which is after the sexual contact... so why we think that just because weeks down the line a women begans to go thru a different path then the male that, thats suppose to effencient what happen weeks before I'll never know... but it also shows you how we like to hide the reality of relationships from ourselves by putting up dividing lines so that we don't actual have to try to understand each other, we can just declare were too different and go hang out with the boys.... while the ladies say were impossiable and go hang out with the ladies... sad, sad state of affairs really....
