The insight.com bowl just this past season Texas Tech was down 28 to Minnesota at halftime. Also Minnesota had a 31 point lead in the 3rd quarter (38-7). Then Texas Tech scored 31 unanswered in 20 minutes. The game went into OT where the Red Raiders won 44-41 thus capping off the biggest bowl comeback ever

In 1980, The Holiday bowl. BYU was down by 20 to SMU with two minutes left in the game.

BYU over SMU is still the biggest, simply because it was for the national title. Who cares that Texas Tech beat Minnessota in the Toilet Bowl? Who cares about spelling too?
