Cyclones, thunder storms, typhoons, and hurricanes are all distructive forces of hot and cold fronts developed by clouds.
So yes, they are the same. But don't forget the sand storms that are created by hot and cold tempuratures, which later become dust typhoons.

The earth isn't uniformly warmed everywhere via the sunlight's rays and for that reason its floor isn't everywhere both radiant. As all of us know, the picture voltaic arrives on earth almost vertically contained in the equatorial zone yet an oblique perspective close to the poles, so equatorial air is way hotter than the polar air. that's that this distinction in temperature that turns the ambience right into a warmth engine inflicting the wind to blows. The earths rotation modifies this basic trend; in each and each and every hemisphere, operating faraway from the pole and in the direction of the equator; there is first a westward glide of air contained in the decrease ecosystem, then an eastward one contained in the mid- variety and finally yet another westward glide close to the equator.each and each and every hemisphere's trend of ventilation is a reflect image of the different's; the easterly winds of the nothern tropics- to the commerce winds-to blow from the northeast, even as an similar easterly trades less than the equator blow from the southeast.. * The westerly winds of center variety do no longer share the commerce winds customary trend. fairly they are roiled into sizeable severe altitude eddies, thousand of mile accross. the more advantageous eddies are more advantageous patience. One would flow eastward for weeks before loosing its id in random turbulence. A smaller eddy that sorts round a center of low stress air acquires a rotary action and commence to spin-counter clockwise contained in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise contained in the Southern Hemisphere. Such spinning eddy is termed a cyclone.. the great whirling action of the athmosphere fireplace up storms at sea which strike the shore with huge breaker and winds starting from seventy 5-2 hundred miles in preserving with hour blowing round a vital portion of calm. contained in the a concepts East is termed Typhoons, and contained in the Western Hemisphere is termed Hurricanes...maximum Cyclones looks contained in the Indian Ocean... The maximum effective wind that blows around the earth's floor are those that whirl interior the vortex of a tornado. even as it gathers stress and touches land, a lot of dirt and debris shuttle up the funnel which will be sure at 2 hundred-500 miles in preserving with hour..Australia and North u . s . of america know them best... Edit: lengthy narrative, and that all of them mean an similar element (unfavorable & risky) HA HA HA... wish it helps...solid success..
