I thot they will atleast go to semis cuz its held in west indies and they r good at their country.........why they r playing so badly?

The West Indies Players especially Cris Gayle, Chandra Paul, Sarvan and Brian Lara have not been playing to their potential, which is the main reason for the failure of West Indies.

West Indies are sailing in the same boat as the Indian team. The only difference betwen the teams is that India did not enter the "super8" stage, whereas the WI managed to do that. In both the teams, the team spirit is at an all-time low; the seniors have failed to deliver (Sachin, Dravid, Ganguly for India &Lara,Chanderpaul,Sarwan and Gayle for WI)at the right time. There is no coordination between the oldies and the young ones. Hence the failure!

This is mainly because the captain lacks vision, he is selfish and self-centered and focuses on his own glory and does not have West Indies cricket at heart.He likes to have his own way and feels that he is better than the coach, manager,and thus does not listen to them.It appears as though he has preferences for some players over others.For WI to recover Lara should be told to resign the captaincy and retire from cricket completely.

yes.the way they were performing at the roup stages was good.i dont think they have quality players.they dont have the mindset to win matches.leave ur hope for windies.yes kiwis might win but aussies can also.

Because they are not capable enough to face powerful teams. However, they have an excuse - the schedule is very tight!

THEY DIDN'T PLAY SO MUCH AS WE EXPECT. THEY LOST TO INDIA IN THE WARM UP MATCH SHOWED THEIR POOR PREPARATION FOR THE WORLD CUP.I THINK THEY WILL NOT ENTER INTO THE SEMIS.
