There is no way to be ENTIRELY sure, but if you had been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and have followed His Word, and have repented of your sins often, and led other to Christ, you will go to heaven.

God knows we are not perfect, and does not expect perfection. Only He is perfect. He just wants us to follow a few simple rules, and if we do, he is satisfied.

A good example is children. If your little girl tried to please you by making her bed, and it didn't turn out too well and was rather sloppy because she hadn't learned to do it better, we are still pleased because of the intention to do something for you.

It's the same thing with God. If we sing with our hearts, pray, read the Bible, be baptized, and tell others about Jesus, He will be satisfied, even if that other person goes off the path, or we ask questions constantly about the Bible, because He knows when we are or are not doing our best.

If we do our best, and follow the rules we will go to heaven.

I hope this was explained enough for you.

It's nice to see someone who is concerned about their soul.

Hope to see you soon!

Nobody will know where their final destination will be until after the second cumming which i hope will take place some time.No one has any proof that this will take place. It is all a matter of having faith. You either believe or you don't.

I have learned through various scriptures and prayers that our bodies will be resurrected and that BODY and SOUL will either go to heaven or hell. This is the hardest thing to digest . It is impossible to comprehend how this will happen but God is God and he can do anything.

If we died in Christ without offending him (mortal sin) we will surely be with him for all eternity but our souls will have to be purified with some sort of temporal punishment to purge our soul for entry into paradise.

Now this is what i believe .I am not saying this is what is going to happen. As i said it is faith not reasoning that i have.

In your additional details your definition of philosophy specifically excludes theology. That means this is not a philosophical question. Theologically speaking I couldn't care less if I had a polished soul. What's that all about? Never heard of it before.

I can't explain my hunch clearly. It's like a drop of water trying to explain the concept of an ocean. I know we're made out of the same thing, but I can't perceive it in its entirety. Perhaps the drop of water must at least become a stream or a river to reach the ocean, and I have work to do.

From REV. 14.

144,000 get to go to his kingdom in the end. With the worlds population approximately ~6 Billion, you have a 0.0024% chance of getting into the kingdom.

You had better get polishing awfully hard to get that shiny.

Ne plus ultra.

I am not sure as to the meaning of your question. Here's a possible insight. Many Christians do not equate salvation with certitude, but with an act of faith. To claim certitude in the matter of salvation is to sin by an act of presumption. The proper response of Christian theology in this regard is illumined in a response that Joan of Arc gave during the trial which preceded her death: "Asked if she knew that she was in God's grace (saved), she replied: "If I am not, may it please God to put me in it; if I am, may it please God to keep me there. "" In matters of salvation, the initiative is God's, and the proper disposition is faith, hope and love, not certitude "that one's soul is polished enought to enter God's Kingdom."

Jesus did all the buffing and shining for me. I'm not going in based on my merits, but based on the shed blood of Christ. So I've no doubts about where I'm going.

Well being that everything you do is a sin, and sinners go to Hell, then chances are you are going to Hell. But then again, the Bible says God forgive all, so you get to go to heaven after all. Nothing like a bit of contradiction...

You've asked your question in philosophy, but this appears to be a religion question.

There is no soul, so there is nothing to polish.
