i have a rapidly growing internet business... i was a full time truck driver, but i got let go recently after getting hurt at work, which is a blessing. ive been wanting to devote more time to my business and im still getting paid by workers comp.
success could be defined differently by different people... to some it is living in 7000+ square foot house with a mercedes and a hummer and a 'vette in the garage.
but to some of us success can be as simple as being happy, living each day to the fullest, and acheiving simple short term goals in our lives. i came into this world as poor white trash... and i guess by some peoples definition i still might be. ive been through hell growing up, and have had a ton of obstacles in my way. i still live in a trailer home. not because i cant afford a house without wheels but because im attached to it.
i think that im just as successful as the rich guy, if not more. im happy and i have everything i want- someone i love, a few toys parked out in the yard, and i have a steady source of income from my online store. i dont have a mortgage to pay or huge car payments.
im not an expert on success by any means. my business is very young but with my sales growing an average of 200% monthly i must be doing something right.
-im not afraid of failure- i have been in jail in the past and i have been homeless. i know what its like and ive become pretty good freinds with God since then. i know i cant make it through anything with His help
-im determined and stubborn- i get what i want. i dont give up. when i want something i dont "try", i DO.
-i believe in "paying it forward"- i help others whenever i can, not just when its convenient. eventually it comes back and people help you.
-im honest- i always tell things how it is, and i would never take advantage of anyone.
-i dont care about money- even with my business doing better everyday, it doesnt matter, the Good Lord giveth and He just might taketh away. i dont let money interfere with my morals. i keep my morals my priority, well above money.
i think the only formula to success is: do what makes you happy. dont get money get confused with success.

I was a deisel mechanic after I got out of the Air Force and considered myself pretty successful. I am now disabled, but when I did work I had a very good work ethic. I think to be successful it takes, drive, determination, motivation, respect for the company and your coworkers, being flexible and putting your best foot forward in all that you do. Honesty and loyalty are also important to working your way up and gaining respect from your boss. I always did the best I could every day and stayed busy all the time because it made the days go by faster. I was also self motivated and didn't have to be told what to do becaue if I saw it needed to be done, I just did it without waiting to be asked or told to. All of these qualities are necessary to be successful in whatever field you are in. I learned a lot of dicsipline in the military.

stubborn
determined
i always set goals-so i can fulfill my dream
polite-learned never to make anyone mad, etc, especially around people i don't know.
clever/smart
and well, i'm a capricorn....does that have to do with my traits and stuff??
i guess i was just born with these traits.....
and about the formula for success............yeah, i think there is one, because people cannot always be successful with a unique approach, because "unique" can be that the person always has a nasty temper but is very polite when not angered, or it can mean that a person is very rude but
blahblahblahblahblah............<<<<(i can't think of anything)
but i guess im weird, cuz now, i think that both would work, i guess there really is no "formula for success".

Expirence from lessons learned is the way to go and who set the number at 5? There is no set number to success. The only formula you need is confidence.

Success is based on inner peace with the things that you do and say it's not about all finances. without happiness and love there is no success there is misery in loneliness where strength, and confidence use to reside.
