Just recently I was at Sears department stores and was apprehended for shoplifting by Mesa PD. I was seen on camera concealing an item and was approached by security as i was hiding in a clothing rack with said item. They did not identify themselves as store security and one man said "GET THE **** OUT OF THERE!" At this point I was slow to move and was then grabbed by a man and his colleague. I was then in a grapple between two men and myselft as they were trying to apprehend me. One guy has my arm and the other is trying to twist my arm behind my back to handcuff me and I am resisting. I proceeded to bite one after warning them both that if they did not let go that i would bite the one in front of my face. The other whom I did not bite proceeded to punch me in the back of the head as hard as he could 3 times. By now they had one of my hands in cuffs and a third man came up and proceeded to beat the metal of my cuffed wrist. I think that they lacked training and were excessive,

You admit you were concealing something. So that means you had a good idea that you were committing a crime. So if you are approached by a couple of guys who are trying to handcuff you, you pretty much realize what was going on. And by you biting them that just proves their actions on detaining you that way were just (not to mention the threat of another bite). You're lucky they didn't break your finger or arm, I probably would have (and no judge will have sympathy for a thief over a sercurity officer doing their job). I hope your charges increase from theft to robbery.

No, but I'd be glad to help Sears defend against your suit.
