I think seeing the person might be agood idea in case you ever run into them again. How much worse it would be if you were ata aparty chatting with someone and your spouse came up and dragged you away to tell you 'that was the affair person" and now you're sitting there saying "OH D***"

As to knowing the details, I do not recommend it. As many betrayed spouses have said, once you hear them, you can never wipe them out of your mind. At least if you are left wondering, over time you can convince yourself that it wasn't much to think on. I was fine until I heard certain specific details I wish I had never learned. He knew better than tto tell me outright but it slipped out by accident one day and he paid... oh did he pay for that! I still sometimes get twisted inside thinking about those particular details. Had he never let slip, I wouldn't have known and possibly not even thought about it.

But just seeing the other person? If you live int eh same town, oh heck yes.., to avoid possible future embarrassment.

Yes And No. I Would Want To See Just To Size Her Up. You Know The Usual, Why Would He Cheat On Me With Her? But Then I Wouldn't Want To See Her Because I Might End Up Despising Someone I Don't Even Know. If I Were You I Wouldn't Try It, It May Hurt You Even More.

Curiosity killed the cat, and in this case, if you knew every detail, it would kill you. You'd probably become obsessed with the thought of him with another woman and it will consume your day-to-day life. Knowing what the woman looked like is ok, if it stops there. I wouldn't advise looking for the details. Know that it happened, and that's good enough to get your half of the estate.

Yes, I would have liked to seen the chic that was so desperate to have a man that couldn't spend quality time with her only to have him come by only when he's out ripping and running.Or during the time he take his breaks at work. When this happened to me, I did want to see her. I resisted the urges though and I'm glad I did.

It's bad enough to be humiliated this way, it would be worse to know all the gory, smutty details. I'm sure my imagination covered most of what was going on.

At least I don't have to have her picture in my mind. I wish I could delete his.

I kicked him out and never looked back. Yeah, it hurt like hell, but no one gets to treat me like that twice.

Not really. But I'm the person who covers her eyes during scary movies and peeks through her fingers. It's just hard not to watch a train wreak. I'm the very curious sort and not knowing would eventually eat away at me... But I really wouldn't want to know!
