I was definitely thinking about performance muffler... but would you have to get a new exhaust also? What should be included for good bass in the car? Prices and suggestions please! Thank you all in advance! =)

Well for any car there are some basic principles. First off you would like to change everything from the catalytic converter on back. Get two inch pipe work done, a nice performance resonator and probably a Sebring or Borla exhaust system. Another thing that makes a car sound good is the intake. What you should do there is install what they call a cold air intake. I don’t think that they make one for a Saturn, but there are a lot of places that will make one for you. I recommend checking out your phone book for that. I don’t know if you live in the L.A area so I’m not going to recommend the place I go to. I don’t know if you can do this for a Saturn, but advancing the timing on it makes it sound cool too! It will also ad about five more horsepower, but you’ll need to use premium gas.

I take that you want a 'cool' sounding car. Cool is not the same as loud to me. There are a lot of variables, so I suggest you listen to other Saturns and ask their owners what they are running.
