I think it is a 1960's song. No clue who wrote or what title of the song really is...

The Youngbloods, featuring Jesse Colin Young, co-wrote "Get Together" and released it in 1965, and it only hit #62 on the chart. It would have died there, except that two years later--after the National Council of Christians and Jews used the song as their theme song on television and radio spots--the track was re-released and cracked the top five for the Youngbloods' only Top 50 hit.

The band broke up when Jesse Colin Young disagreed with the arrangement on his "The Peace Song", and decided to strike out on his own.

I really don't care about the original song.
But NIRVANA used it as a lead in on Territorial Pissings on the Nevermind album.
