Everyone is necessary, life is a balance of both Male and Female without it the world would end. Astrologically the Sun is the Masculine Force and the Moon is the Feminine Principal, try to look at it more logically next time.

you need more reason than the above honestly you think raizing a child is easy do you think cooking and cleaning and the inspiration isnt importan a woman who truely embodies these things is realy a great asset you are a fool to think otherwise. If a woman contributes that way she is helping you have a nice enviroment a certain quality of life if your wife is doing these things realy you need to sit down and stop complaining that she is providing you with a confortable life

Women are necessary to help and be helped by men equally, though in different ways. More importantly- that is how nature intended it. You already know this answer, but are looking to bring out the worst in many otherwise great women I'm sure. The truth is none of us are necessary, but we were gifted life and should appreciate our own, and that of those around us. I hope this wasn't a question made in earnest, but a silly joke. By the way- I know many women these days that do almost none of the things on your list- and many more that do all of those, plus the things their inadequate mates SHOULD be doing. Happy Easter to you all. Peace and God Bless.

Anymore? What happened recently in which women lost more worth than they had before? Personally, I think 65% of our society, men and women, are under-educated and overly simplistic.
And while both sexes have stereotypes that they ascribe to, at least women aren't obSESSED with guys running around in tights throwing a ball for millions of dollars. Millions of men crowd around the tv on Monday night to live vicariously through a guy running around with a ball.
And honestly, would you REALLY want a world full of JUST guys? No thanks!

Yes, for reproduction purposes. I hear the movie "Children of Men" deals loosely with this theme and ponders the potential effects of infertilization of all women in the entire planet. According to the film, the entire human species will be obliterated. I highly reccomend the movie to you; perhaps it will answer your question more in-depth.

Absolutely adore them,mate-couldn't live without them-can't understand the bints and never will-but that's a different thing altogether!!
Can't stand guys who knock women around-one of my pet hates in life-A guy lifted his hands to my sister once and was lucky I got to him first-a broken nose does heal in time-if it would have been my brother who got to him before me-I think he would've required an undertaker rather than a doctor.
Cherish women for the comfort they give you-and let the one you hold be the one you love!!

well, if you're a straight male that wasn't raised by a red neck of a father, you wouldn't even be asking this question now, would you?
see, you wouldn't have to ask this question because you'd already be smart enough to know that women deserve as much worth as men do.

seriously, shouldn't the question be...are men really necessary? besides taking out the trash and lifting heavy things?
to tell the truth, the Y chromosome is actually a defective chromosome...we are ALL XX chromosomes first...it's takes one little defect to turn it into a XY. AND we could kill off all men, extract their sperm, duplicate it over and over, and humanity would continue. men could NOT kill off all women and continue to survive. You need us more than we need you......though I might keep one, in chains and a cage of course, to kill those pesky spiders in the corner.
geez dude, you've got vagina envy. not all women are as bad as the one (or ones) that made you bitter. there are extremely awesome and sweet women out there. maybe you should raise your standards and stop settling for the first moist hole that comes around. You might actually find a quality companion.......
or maybe you should become gay if you're not already since you ask such a silly question and have discredited and insulted women all over the world, including your mother and any sisters you may have. didn't your mother teach you better? how would you insult the woman that brought you unto this earth? maybe you need some attention...I understand. it'll be okay.
dude, in all seriousness, I'm sorry that someone made you feel immasculated, don't know whether it was a man or a woman, but in all honesty, it's not anybody's job to make you feel like a man.

In all honesty, no. I think life can become more worthwhile, more fun, more enjoyable, and fuller with a woman (or women), but they are not necessary. Men are perfectly capable of finding and maintaining happiness and fulfillment without them. We are often influenced by the media and women to think otherwise, but I'm pretty convinced.
