i can't add any favourite links with "favorites" menu..when i click favorites>add to favorites nothing comes on screen..i have tried with "favorites" toolbutton also...the left portion of browser is covered with grey skin (like taskbar,captioin button,3d object etc,,) instead of white window of favorites' list..
Now tell me how i can add favorite links to my IE browser ?
what had actually happened?
how to correct/repair it to get it work as before?
please don recommend me another browser to use as i am habited to use IE browser and it is difficult for me to download ,install and personally set a new another browser
Just tell me how to solve this problem with "favorites" menu, as i asked, if you only know how to..

some of the files of ur IE might be removed accidentally .... which disables ( or malfuntion ) some of the options in ur IE

...try to re-install ur IE by goin to
Control Panel < Add or Remove Programs < Add/Remove Windows Components
OR
try to restore ur pc to the Recent Restore Point( which will undo harmful changes to ur pc and return ur pc to an earlier time settings...- (called Restore Point) -...with out causing u to lose recent work)

to go to Restore Point...go to
Control Panel
