They call Moderates, Democrats and Liberals cowards, because we won't fear the terrorists?
Do you actually think terrorist will over-run the USA?
You'd sell all your freedoms away, just so you won't be afraid of the big bad terrorist. DNA profiling for travel, retinal eye scan to buy milk, Carry our papers everywhere. Sound familiar?
I'd rather have a gun battle in my street defending my home with my, sons, daughter and wife along with friends and neighbors than swallowing the line of bull this administration sells.
You believe the terrorist Army, Navy and Air force are going to plan an invasion? We weren't even this scared of the USSR.
Stop all the patriotic non-sense. I love this country enough to stand for the rights the founding fathers left us.
You think they'd agree with all the "with us or against us" baloney?
231 years of rights, George tries to take them away in 6 years.
Why are you so damn scared, I'd rather fight them here, this way I'd at least die a free man.

To lose our Constitutionally guaranteed rights due to fear is proof that we don't deserve them. (Didn't one of the FF say something along these lines?) (FF=Founding Fathers).
I've never in my life seen such gobbledygook about any enemy! What about our own home-grown terrorists? (Tim McVeigh, abortion clinic bombers, church burners, KKK,,,,,and on and on...) Our current government is using fear to line their pockets.
And all this screaming about the Constitution...We have it from the Decider that it is just a "g-d piece of paper" You don't fool us, Conservatives. You have your own agenda, and you will bend and twist the words that moved some REAL patriots to fight their government and form a new and more perfect union. Your "patriots" will send our children off to a "war" for monetary profit, and call ME names because I disagree!!
Listen, our FFs thought that it was not just a right but a DUTY to question "authority", and to even overthrow the government if we felt it was not working FOR us!!! Were they "traitors"??
Live free or die! Ever heard that before?? Conservatives are the real cowards!

So true; and if the United States wanted to really crack down on terrorism; they would post our military on the borders to prevent illegal immigration; drug smuggling, and human smuggling. I'm not a racist; but Middle Eastern can assimilate as any person(s), south of the border; think about it. In addition; the Bush Administration; wouldn't be so foolish to sell our ports to foreign interest.
Heck if terrorism was the real focus point; the FDA would have more power to prevent illnesses and death brought on by Spinach Farmers and now Dog/Cat Food companies. Under the Bush Administration, the FDA powers have been gravely limited. But wait, China holds our trillion dollar debt; and all fingers point to a Chinese corporation.
By the way, Iraq didn't have any connection to 9/11; and Saddam Hussein executed terrorist found in Iraq. All these years of past to fight the good fight against terrorism; and the head of Bin Laden hasn't yet been found. Perhaps the Bush and Laden family connection prevents the finality?
In any case, why is Afghanistan still fluorescing with their Poppy (Opium). This is one of the main resources for Al Qaeda. If we really were against terrorism; wouldn't we destroy their resources?
At the risk of sounding like an "Info Commercial"; but wait there's more. Why initiate the Patriotic Act; which limits the very thoughts of freedom provided by our Forefathers? Yes indeed, they would roll several times in their graves knowing that American citizens could have their homes and private property seized and search, without warrant. Yes, remember the Virginia Slim commercial: "We've come a long ways baby"!

One of you had a good point. What about our radical organizations here in the US. As a bomb disposal technician and anti-terrorist, I've studied many forms of terrorism and freedom fighting. One thing is true. Terrorism and freedom fighting are two of the oldest forms of warfare. They exist in every country, and have since that countries founding. Sometimes for religion, and sometimes for dominance of land. Whether history remembers them as terrorists depends on their level of success (The Huns). The point is many countries have faced this epidemic often unsuccessfully for centuries. It seems it's our turn. We are not going to rid the world of terrorist. But, if we want to keep our way of life, we have to try.

Very true, it is the politics of fear. And while still effective it seems to have lost momentum a little. Some are refusing to simply believe all that they are told is fact.
The British sympathizing conservatives of the Revolutionary War also branded the liberal thinkers who wanted to fight for independence as traitors and radicals.
I also refuse to give into the fear mongering propaganda, I choose to live free as a proud, unafraid American.

I do not support Bush on every decision he's made.. but i will say it sure doesn't seem like conservatives are the ones afraid of terrorists..I think you're bass ackwards there buddy..
Which party is willing to keep the fight on their turf ? Which party understands sacrifices must be made to achieve victory? Give up ? It's not the pandering, cowardly, capitulating Democrats and liberals.

Well 9/11/01 kind of proves that it can happen. The fact that a few million people in the Middle East want to kill me just because I live in America is a little frightening, anyone who says otherwise is either lying or just ignorant. Actually Conservatives make up the majority of people in the military fighting terrorism, it would appear that Liberals are the scared ones.

the founding fathers only extended voting rights to rich, white males who owned land.
the terrorist don't need to over run the USA. All they have to is disrupt our oil supply and starve us. This will cause prices to rise and eventually destroy our economy. They needn't set foot on American soil to destroy us.

There's a big difference between laying down like a sick dog ( liberal) and going "there-there" to the people who killed thousands in a single day - and in being brave - and going after terrorism . Your last sentence tells me I wasted another moment of my time answering a half wit .
