The show has been and always will be a laughing stock. Singing doesn't equal musical talent, the show is geared only towards 1 genre of music and not only that its the worst genre "pop music". These contestants aren't musicians they're blueprints for the American Idol record label. Since when did being a musician have anything to do with "a look"
I should be only be about ones ability to write songs, make their own music, play an instrument and be original. NONE of those things fit with ANYONE who's EVER been on this joke of a show. They do nothing but cram these people down our throats via, Crappy Mtv, radio and now the news (I've heard more about Sanjaya these past two weeks than I have about the British Hostages in Iran.) After they fill the airways with this crud and pay stations to feed us this garbage they get Grammy's for airplay and 12 year old girls buying the albums, oh and for those that say... "It takes talent to win a Grammy's." all I have to say to that is Vanilla Ice and Milli Vanilli.
American Idol is nothing but propaganda for the Fox network.
something to keep your eyes off REAL issues going on in the world.
1.) War in Iraq
2.) War in Afghanistan
3.) GENOCIDE IN DARFUR (wtf GENOCIDE!!!!)
4.) "Free and Fair Trade" Exploiting workers around the world and taking away Jobs from hard working Americans.
5.) The American People being fed up with foreign policy
6.) Rising Cost of Education. ( I HAD TO SELL DRUGS just to pay for tuition for a "STATE" College. "FSU")
7.) Growing Gap between the Rich and Poor of this Country.
8.) The fact that it takes TWO JOBS in ONE HOUSE JUST TO GET BY in this country.
9.) The Bubbled Housing Market (The show "Flip this house" had a 2 bedroom home in "SOUTH CENTRAL L.A." listed for $425,000 post flip.. ALMOST A HALF A MILLION DOLLARS.)
10.) The fact that Bill O'reilly is a Douche Bag.
Please support REAL AMERICAN IDOLS the Union Men and Women that built this country with this blood, sweat and tears.
Although I didn't stay Focused on the topic, please stay focused on real issues.

All I've got to say about the show is it's some what entertaining but I've been watching it for 3 or 4 yrs. and all I got to say for this year is "I'm not VOTING" because I can't believe some of the people that can't hold a tune made it through-now don't get me wrong I like several people on there and they're the ones that entertain me and the other "fake want-to-B's" are just for those moments when you got to get up to get something and or use the restroom real quick-so basically I'm watching it just to see how it turns out and who gets put off when it should of been the "dip" that can't even sing or hold a note or even dress up for the show-that right there turns me away from it-come on if I was in front of millions of people I'd at least dress and dance while I preform-I'm embarrassed for the one on there that are so lost in being on the stage that they totally forget"WHY" they're up there and they forget all about their appearances and performance. Now that's what America is watching the show in the first place for-that's all I got to say about the show this yr.of 07'

so obviously you care a little otherwise you wouldn't even know who Sanjaya is. Yeah, the show is a joke and I hate it - absolutly! But I do think it's funny that Sanjaya is still it. I'm hoping that he gets he number one spot and the people who make the show realize how much of a joke the show is and stop producing it! I don't watch it. I do admit to liking the auditions because people make fools of themselves and that's just funny. But I just ask someone who got voted off instead of painfully bearing another hour or so of these lame people with their horrible singing ability. I could defenitely do without that Seacrest guy.

Umm....because normally it's a good show. I love watching people who have talent and are undiscovered make it. For example...CHRIS DAUGHTRY!!!!! Simon usually states the truth. He's not mean....just honest. EVERYBODY knows that before they go on the show. Sanjaya on the other hand....Can't stand the guy!!!!!! And actually if he wins, I'll join you in NEVER watching the show again.

You don't have to care about the show to know who anyone is. Every news channel and talk show always has something about idol. Its forced down our throats. You can't help but know a little something about it. I think it pretty much sucks.
