has anyone else heard about the problem with honey bees?

so i been hearing everywhere on the news, online that honey bees are randomly dying in california, some people say its global warming, a diesease and it could be these little ticks.. i didnt realize how importiant bees are until i found out the information, a lot of fruit we eat can only be grown by bees pollenating plants, what do you think is causing the bees to die off?

i mean mites not ticks sorry

yes I've heard of it and yes I lost all of my bee's I called the extension office and was told it was winter die off. well winter die off does not happen in septmber. I watched as the workers coming in and going out bringing in a greyish looking pollen.. about a month later took the top off looked in side all was well and strong .went back about a few weeks later there was nothing at all in the hive and not one bee to be seen. later I recall seeing some bee's crawling around on the grass . I just assumed it was young bee's not getting all their flying right. my question' is this some other form of terrorism on our food supply

It's mites. Once the mites got introduced into this country is has put a lot of pressure on bees. Don't worry they'll evolve out of it.
