I'm 6 weeks pregnant. I've been cramping in my stomach like menstral cramps. I had a miscarriage like almost 2 years ago. I got pregnant 6 weeks after that with my baby who is now nine months old. Maybe i'm just worried and paranoid that I'll have to go through that all over again. Is the cramping normal? I don't remember doing that with my other children. Help!! Thanks in advance!

cramping is normal in the first trimester, but dont be afraid to call your doc and discuss things with them! even if there is no threat of miscarriage, they will want to see you to make sure everything is ok! they care about you and the baby, and want everything to be ok, just like you do! so, take care, and congrats!

cramps can sometimes be normal but honey if you have already had 1 miscarriage SEE A DOCTOR!!! make sure it is nothing. It usually takes a body 2 yrs to fully recover from pregnancy and birth but don't let anyone tell you that you just being paranoid, If in doubt check it out. If there is something wrong they may be able to treat it, which may save you and or the baby.

Yes in the begining LIGHT menstrual cramps are normal. But if there is pain and bleeding call your doctor. Take extra precautions too, since you've had a previous miscarriage. Good luck.

I wouldn't worry if it's just cramping. That is totally normal in the early stages of pregnancy. If you start really bleeding, that would be a cause for concern. Good luck and all the best!

I had menstral like cramps with every single pregnancy. With my first, I carried around a tampon religiously awaiting the dreaded arrival of aunt flo- I was so duped by phantom cramps!
Don't let it worry you too much, just watch out for bleeding (of course!) and report anything unusual to your OB.

Congrats!!!!!!

Cramping can be perfectly normal as your uterus stretches. I had cramps so bad I thought my insides were getting torn apart but I carried to 36 wks with both boys.
