Lately its been harder for me to take a crap. And the past week, its gotten really bad. I dont know why, but now I am bleeding when i take a crap. Like a lot, and I dont have a clue why. It doesnt hurt, but theres a lot, and it scares me.
What would cause this? Lack of fiber?

Well what is weird is im on a new diet, of eating less meats. I have increased my fruit intake to about 3-5 servings a day. I drink on average 50-80oz of water, but most likely its my vegtable intake thats a problem. I dont eat them almost at all. I just cant, I have tried most vegtables out there and I dont like them. However I know that its unhealthy to do so, I have tried. Is it because of that/
PS im only 17, would this affect my condition at all?

Hard stools can cause internal hemorrhoids by inflaming the vessels around the rectum. As the stool is harder to pass, bleeding occurs and appears as bright red blood. You are constipated.Your body needs 25-30 grams of fiber a day. If veggies don't appeal to you, try fruit. In the meantime, use a bulky fiber laxative like Metamucil for 2 weeks to soften and increase the bulk of your stool so you can easily pass the stool. Since this takes awhile to take effect also use over the counter laxative and stool softener like Colace so that your results are quicker and may give the vessels a chance to heal. Preparation H may not be necessary as of yet especially if you take action now. Fiber is also found in whole grains. Take care of this so that these hemorrhoids don't become thrombosed (a clot forms and tissues lack blood circulation resulting in necrosis (death of the rectal tissue)),and even require emergency surgery. The short term laxative can be used for 3 days. Change your dietary intake of fiber while taking the Metamucil. Things should be back to normal in less than 2 weeks, but do use Metamucil for 2 weeks. With the resolution of this problem, be sure to take in your fiber daily 25-30mg a day from your eating sources. Regular exercise also helps a lot. If you experience extreme pain, fever, chills, see your physician. Get this under control now and do get better soon.

If you are bleeding a lot with every BM, get off the computer and get to the nearest doctor or Emergency Room, NOW! This can be a symptom of several extremely serious diseases, such as colon cancer and ulcerative colitis.
If the doctor checks you out and says it's just something superficial, then eating lots of fiber, cutting down on meat and junk food, and drinking plenty of water will probably fix the problem. But if you're really bleeding so the water turns pink, not just seeing a little blood on the paper, it should be seen to immediately. Your life could be at stake.
Please report back what the doctor says. Good luck!

FIRST....GO TO THE ER NOW!!!!! Why are you waiting so long to get to the hospital. Honestly you should have done so once you couldn't take a major crap.
Note that you should take a dump at least as much you intake food. Yes, it is important to have plenty of fiber in your diet. The water intake is fine but honestly as a male you need the protein in your diet as well, do not cut it out completely, you're too young to have your health and body shut down on you this early in life.
So take your lazy bloody *** to the doctors NOW!!!!

yep, eat raw fruit, take fiber tablets, make sure you drink at least 80 oz of water a day besides anything else you drink, if you are taking some sort of new medicine , that can cause it, like tylenol with codine. exercise also helps. get some prep h for your behind as well.

Go to the pharmacy and buy some fiber and stool softeners; also, use Preparation H for about 5 days. If this doesn't help, see your doctor.

Yeah - you need more fruits and vegetables in your diet. The only reason they aren't good to you is that you haven't eaten them much in your life. The more you eat, the better they will start to taste.
