i were on left side my baby is kicking... if i were on right side he dont kick?..i were on right side a for a while cause i cant stay on left side it will hurt on my hip if im staying left side. just wonder what does it mean he didnt kick on the right side but kick in left side.. im first time with this pregnancy.. just need some help. THANKS! :)

Perhaps he's more comfortable when you sleep on your right side and kicks to get you to roll over? Seriously...if it hurts, don't sleep on your left side!

I don't know that this is an accurate medical answer, but... I know that when you lay on your left side that the baby is getting more oxygen. I had premature labor with 3 of my children, and ended up bedridden for the last few weeks, to month and a half on my left side. I'm not sure that the more flow of oxygen through your body is what makes it better for you or what. However, in my opinion, if you are laying on your left side, and the baby is more active, that might be it. Another thing to look at, maybe the baby is laying a certain way inside, and when you lay on the one side the baby has more room to move around. Or feeling a bit too snugly in there and is trying to stretch. :)

Sleeping on the left side provides more oxygen and circulation for the baby. My boys were both more active when i was on my left side but less on my right or on my back. When I was in preterm labor the Dr had me stay on my leftside a lot.

well this same thing happens to me im 32 weeks prego. why they move more when your on your left is cause your heart is on your left. more blood flow to you and the baby. therefore he is kicking more. its not bad that he doent kick as much on your right. and my hip also hurts really bad on my left. sucks to sleep.. only gets worse. lol

He probably was just more comfortable with you being on your right side so he didn't kick you then.

it probably just means that the baby isnt comfortable when you sleep on your left side try to find a different position to sleep in so that both are you comfortable

maybe cause he/she is uncomfortable when u are on left side cause of the position he/she's in. on ur right side he/she is comfortable therefore he/she dont kick lol. its the babys way of sayin move it mom ur squishin me lol.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! BUT, TOO MUCH COMFORT IS NOT AN OPTION WHILE PREGNANT. WHEN I WAS PREGNANT I SLEPT ON THE SOFA THE LAST 3 MONTHS, IT WAS THE ONLY WAY I COULD GET COMFORTABLE ENOUGH TO CATCH A FEW ZZZZ'S. GOOD LUCK :)
