Mine have a teal blue rim with grey inside, and specks of yellow and green are mixed in with the grey.

Now that is a tough one.
I can't look in the mirror long enough to get a true color.
Right now they look pewter with tinges of golden brown around the iris.
I am far from color blind but it just looks that way.
Generally I don't look at my eyes but I have been told by some that they are quite attractive, but; I don't know if they were telling the truth or not.
To be honest I look at my eyes and I see a volcano inside of a clear globe with a deep black pit in the center of it.
I guess the beauty of the eyeball left me the night I had to help a surgeon operate on one. It stopped just being a pretty color and started to be a living thing. I can see how a doctor could get lost in their depth and majesty.

people think they are pure Black.
i went to the doctor for a check up and she asked what color my eyes were, i told her "brown", and she writes it down. she looks up from the chart, looks me in the face and scratches off "brwn" and puts "blk" as in "black"
she thought i was lying! how silly is that?!
