That's exactly what I'd like to know . After 9/11 Al Qaeda was ready to quit and by 2001 was all but done , and then we went into Iraq .
They then had a reason to recruit, grow and become stronger . So we are where we are today .
This man has done more damage to this country then any President in history . We are being over run with illegals and our borders are wide open .
He wants them open because of the NAU and The NAFTA Super Highway . , that he has keep quiet and not even Congress and the American People know much about it . He has done secret deals with other countries and we never know about them until someone catches him at it and then it's lies , lies and lies .
It's going to take 10 years to fix every thing that he has began .

A few reasons:
1. Bush has not been charged with any high crimes, thus impeachment would be premature.
2. There would not be enough votes in either the House or the Senate to begin proceedings
3. The Democrats realize that Bush is gone in about 20 months and it isn't worth the time, effort, and money to remove a lame duck President. They are more focused on winning in 2008 than punishing Bush.

First of all **** for brains, this is the last year for Bush what he has done or what he has not done is pretty much irrelevant politically at this point, sense he is leaving office. There is no point in impeaching a Commander and Chief who can't do much more than tussle with congress and keep money flowing to Iraq, and at this point both parties agree that immediate pull out of the troops is sense less.
2nd of all, Bush has not broken any laws. One is prosecuted when they have broken the law, Bush has not. Despite your views and those who may share then, Bush has not done anything illegal. No lawyer would take your case up.
"He has lied, manipulated and does not do the job he was elected to do", welcome to reality-sense when does anyone follow up completely with what they said they would? It is easy to sit back and point blind fingers are the situation, but that doesn't change the circumstances. If you truly believe Bush should be impeached, then get your tail to the Congress and get it done, too bad no one will listen.

There is this little thing called a Constitution which is basically the law of the land. No where in this Constitution does it say that you can impeach a president because you don't agree with his policy. There is only a certain number of things a president can be impeached for, and not listening to the "will of the people" as you say is not an impeachable offense.

together as my first reaction is to assert something charged like, "long late!" the fact is that that's merely greater media jibber-jabber. The Democrats nicely undergo in recommendations what the end results of the Clinton impeachment lawsuits have been and how it negatively impacted the Republican occasion of the day. Newt is a footnote and Ken Starr is a humorous tale. Or is it any opposite direction around? even though! Clinton got here out of it with increasing scores and a ton of public help. maximum individuals fairly did no longer care that he lied approximately an act that wasn't unlawful interior the 1st place and if something it rejuvenated his status with maximum individuals of the voters. As issues sit down at present, the Democratic occasion is almost certain of the White dwelling house in spite of who they nominate and could probably advance their place in Congress besides. With in basic terms sixteen months to bypass till Election Day, 2008 there is not any choose for them to threat falling on their swords and threat a backlash of disapproval could the attempt fail. of direction any attempt could fail for the reason that a supermajority is needed for conviction and removing from workplace or perhaps those Republicans attempting to distance themselves from the sinking united statesBush would desire to no longer stand the warmth of a yea vote for impeachment. as a result, any Democrat-lead impeachment attempt could be considered as basically political and because it could no longer be positive and there's a huge potential political draw back to it the percentages of it are almost 0. the likely threat of impeachment could come from in the Republican occasion itself if the potential-brokers desperate that their very own political lives have been so in threat that throwing Bush under the bus replaced into the only thank you to maintain their very own political lives. for the reason that that would provide the Democrats the possibility to blithely take the extreme street and refuse to play alongside OR fall in line under the guise of "bi-partisanship," the two of which might improve their status with the voters, it is not likely that the Republican occasion could heavily entertain this form of drastic diploma. it fairly is a classic case of "Your damned in case you do and you're damned in case you do no longer." upload that to the undeniable fact that Nancy Pelosi could exchange into President interior the form of the impeachment of the two Messrs Bush and Cheney and that they had be thrice damned to enable that happen.

Read your history book. He hasn't lied, he thought he knew something but was horribly wrong. Thats not lying. He has manipulated.... what... and has it really helped him? His job isnt to follow the wil of the people. As president he does what he thinks best and then asks CONGRESS for permissio,n which YOU voted for. Also the will of the people wanted him to go to war. HE followed your will. Congrats... The people believed him when he said there were WMDs. THE PEOPLE ELECTED HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I've read + heard talk about it, but Clinton was impeached and he still stayed as president. So what's the point of impeachment anymore? Sounds like dictatorship like Saddam!!!

I agree we should impeach him whether we have evidence of wrongdoing or not because a president really shouldnt have the same rights to due process as anyone. Lets start just impeaching people if enough of the country "dislikes" them. Besides, dumping on bush is a great way for me to make myself more popular at work and school.

It's being worked on as the evidence builds up.
The Gonzales hearings will be an important step in this direction as it will show the nation just how deeply the corruption within the Bush White House really is.
