According to the site listed below, the pH of the human stomach is maintained at 2.0 or above. Stomach acid is actually lower than 2.0, but this site says that the stomach stops secreting acid if the pH drops below 2.0. This protects the stomach itself from the effects of extreme acidity.
Hydrochloric acid is the cause of the low pH.

I am teaching high school Chemistry for four years now. I know and based on the books in Biology, the pH level of human stomach is 2.0 which is acidic in nature.
The HCl or hydrochloric acid is responsible for making the stomach acidic. HCl is secreted by the gastric glands to digest and emulsify fats. The emulsified fats will be converted to specified contents.

I can't answer any of your questions with certainty. My daughter eats 2 /3 lemons a day so for a while her stomach would probably have a ph of at least 3 , possibly 2.
Good question. Look forward to your answers.

pH of stomach acid is between 1 and 2. Stomach acid is HCl, which is a strong acid ( completely dissociated into H+ and Cl- ions) in dilute solution.
