He was good at the audition.
He hasn't been good since.
So, I know he has it but he's lazing along.
Infuriating.

He is capable of putting power into his voice. I choose to believe this kid has a plan, and just like when he had that little girl quivering her lips in the audience, I believe sanjaya is gonna blow us all away.
If he don't, it will be interesting to see whats next. Enjoy the show.

He is physically incapable of putting the same type of power and having the same type of control that some of the other contestants have over his voice. His is far too young to be on this competition and his voice clearly has not fully matured yet. Give him five to ten years.

he knows the drama surrounding him...and if you were faced knowing that no matter what you sing like, the hating and little people voting to ruin the show, is going to keep him on...he is under more pressure than any contestant on the show. He knows that next week another great singer will be votied off, because of the little minds that people out in the voting world has. I am sure even behind the scenes he feels the tention that is all around him....

I was actually wondering that same question. This week's performance I think was the best he has ever done.. I don't like him though..But maybe he has some power. IF he has some power, he needs to use it so people will stop hating him as much as they do now. If America actually heard him put more power in his voice, then maybe people will like him for the singing and not just looks.. but i don't think he needs to even be in american idol!

i think now that he is the worst and because of ''vote for the worst.com '' he is trying to be the worst to get votes from ppl on that site. Because at his auditions i thought he was actually a pretty decent singer. And now i think he is trying to turn american idol into a style and popularity contest not a singing competition.The only real competition left is Melinda,Jordin,Lakesha, and Blake.

haha, i definitely do not think he is holding anything back. What you see is what you get with him. He actually is incapable of anything better.

don't think he can sing that good, maybe he can carry a tune, think he is just making a joke of the whole show.
