I can pretty much tell after 3-5 minutes of conversation if a person has an ugly personality or not. I try to look past appearances, after all skin is just an outer covering.

I don't think anyone is ugly on the outside but mean people make themselves look ugly. Beauty is definatley in the eye of the beholder because I have had guy friends who have had opposite opinions on several women.

it's sad that our society puts everyone in a category and being ugly is one of those categories.
it reminds me of a twilight zone episode where this woman gets a medical procedure done to her face in a last chance effort to look "normal." in the last scene they take the bandages off and they show her reflection in the mirror and she screams in horror because nothing has changed. she's still "beautiful." the camera pans to the nurses and the doctors and they are all "ugly." for in the world she lives in the normal person is "ugly" and the ugly people are "beautiful."
this saying is so true "beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

I never used the word "ugly" in referring to a person's physically appearance. I think of a person as ugly if they're mean, hateful or bigoted.

I only call people ugly when they are ugly on the inside(which means personality wise) not if they were unattractive b/c that would only be my opinion

I would call someone ugly if they had a really bad personality and they talked smack about everyone and everything. I know a girl like that. Everyone always feels like smashing her face in.

absolutely nothing, you'll never know everything about anybody. it may sound corny, but honestly looks never matter when you think about it. all it is, is one or two people deciding what everyone should look like. then they convinced a couple of more people of it. then they called themselves society. nobody has the right to call someone ugly.

no one has a right to call a person ugly. its not their fault their ugly and you shouldnt make fun of them for that! thats just plain mean. if they insult you, beat them up
